Description

Shows the normal microcirculation of the mammalian liver. Several prototypes of the efferent endvessels, also a direct portacaval path, are shown in the pulsating liver. Intermittent closing and opening of the arteriolar orifices located close to the terminal portal venules are demonstrated.
