Description

Spiral-bound laboratory notebook (not in Paton's hand), bearing the title "The C6F6 Book" on the front cover, and commencing with "Perfluorobenzene." The file also contains various loose papers, including a letter from John A Parsons to Paton on sulphur hexafluoride, a paper (ts) by Parsons, "Volatile anaesthetics and the proposal of compounds for testing" (1964), two MRC papers of Paton from the Non-Explosive Anaesthetic Agents Committee, and a joint paper (ts) by Paton and Parsons, "The effect of compounds 48, 55, 56 and 58 on mice and on the coaxially stimulated guinea-pig ileum" (1963).
