Twenty-year-old university student Simon fell off a wall and suffered a severe brain injury which left him in a coma for five weeks. This documentary follows Simon after he wakes up as a very different person who has to relearn how to do everything, both emotionally and physically. His relationships with family and staff at his rehabilitation unit, Oakleaf, are featured and over time Simon comes to realise how difficult his future is likely to be.
