About this work

Description

The Birmingham and Midland Association was founded in Oct 1875 by Dr A Hill. It amalgamated with the (metropolitan) Society and other provincial associations in 1888, and was reconstituted as the Midland Branch of the Society of Medical Officers of Health. Some papers in N.1/3-4 originate from Dr H M Cohen's files.
