Notes

David Turner comes from Skipton in North Yorkshire though born in Lancashire. He is a hill walker. On the plinth he is going to represent the modern day Robinson Crusoe - the plinth being an island. He is wearing t-shirt with Robinson Crusoe displayed on it and has a fake goat-skinned parasol. He is going to write a letter to his great-grand-daughter (as she has she just been born), will put in a bottle and give to his daughter to give to her in 20 years time. Its not his intention to be Robinson Crusoe - just represent him.
