Notes

Michael Atkinson comes from Nottingham. His day job is in IT and he also works as a music reviewer, which he loves and describes music as a passion of his. Is also very interested in the internet and online communication and has his own blog and is very involved in twitter, facebook, etc, etc. His blog was originally a personal blog which has now developed and helped him to promote his work and get his work as a freelance music journalist. Will continue to do both jobs. Has two lives, he lives in Nottingham and has a city based life in the week but at weekends he and his partner go to a cottage that they have in Derbyshire where has discovered a love for gardening and walks. Has been with his partner for 24 and they had a civil ceremony 3.5 years ago. His relationship, family, interests and work are all important to him. On the plinth he will be listening to his iPod and dancing. The public won't hear his music but he has a link where people online can listen to the tracks and he has supporters in the square who have the playlist on MP3s and will be dancing along with him.
