Description

News cuttings volume containing newspaper cuttings, lecture notices and posters, letters by Ismond Rosen (to organisations, newspapers or journal editors), journal articles, conference programmes, etc. The contents mainly relate to Ismond Rosen's public activities, notably publications, events, exhibitions, society meetings, mental health issues in the public arena, conferences and symposia, lectures, television or radio programmes in which Ismond Rosen was involved, book reviews by Rosen, correspondence with newspapers and some organisations, current events mental health issues involving public bodies and other organisations, British Psychoanalytical Society meetings and events, also some local events affecting Rosen and his clinical work.

The volume demonstrates many of the things that Rosen was involved in - a variety of issues including hospital and parent child separation, race relations (in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, 1967), student mental health, human aggression and conflict, the role of women in marriage (marriage and motherhood), effects of parental nakedness on children (children and parental nudity), sex teaching on television, indecent exposure, future of the Paddington Day Clinic. Towards the back of the volume there are articles etc. relating to Ruth Rosen's public performances in theatre and the arts.

Many items are not pasted-in but simply interleaved between the pages.

This volume is akin to the Collected Papers volumes.
