About this work

Description

Investigates complaints by elderly patients' relatives that decisions concerning life-support are made at random, without consultation with relatives, respect for the patients wishes, or taking into account the full picture of the patients health. The "222" of the title is an example of a coded message on a patient's notes instructing staff not to intervene with life support.
