Articles made for the Amicable Society, of the Parish of Great-Sheepy, in the County of Leicester; and places adjacent: established the fourth day of June, one thousand, seven hundred, and eighty-seven For the mutual Assistance of all and every such Member or Members thereof, that may by Sickness, or any other Infirmitiy, be incapable of following their respective Employments, also to encourage Industry, and to improve every other social Virtue that conspires to the good of Mankind in general, and this Society in particular.
