Shewing how it may contribute to the health and profit of the people and the increase of the quantity of bread, preserving infants from the grave, by destroying the use of allum, and the ingredients to whiten our present wheaten bread: proposing to end the contest amicably, by allowing, upon proper authority, a farthing on a quartern loaf more than seems to be provided for by the present act, with respect to the proportion of 7d. for the standard, and 8d. for the wheaten bread.
