Biographical note
The Heberden Society and British Association for Rheumatism and Rehabilitation voted in 1983 to merge and to form the British Society of Rheumatology or BSR. The BSR is a professional, multi-disciplinary, clinically led society representing healthcare professional members in rheumatology and musculoskeletal services in the UK and across the globe. Their aims are to promote excellence in the treatment of people with arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions and to support those delivering it.
