A complete copy of Popular Photography, 85: 6 (December 1979), containing Arthur Goldsmith, "A lesson in portraiture from a master: how Arnold Newman shoots, edits and prints his images" (pp. 100-7 and 123-5).

As part of his series of "Great British" portraits, Newman photographed Crick at the University of Miami, where he was delivering an address.
