Notes

William John Aitchison lives in London. He finds that he often does not identify with people who are supposed to be representative of the country, which inspired him to apply. He is going to give a talking performance based on conspiracy theories and mystical ideas. He finds the use of images and ideas of truth as used by conspiracy theorists interesting. He has thirty to forty pictures that he will be showing and using as his 'proofs'. He has done the talks before but is interested to see how it will work in a public space. In his profession he performs, assists with writing of performances and has a PhD in performance art. He became interested in writing while at university. He thinks that his writing inhabits a set of questions rather than having a particular message. He is performing, not promoting, his work. Being able to carry on his work, having independence and some criticality are important to him.
