Description

Luigi Lablache (1794-1858), Italian operatic bass singer of French and Irish descent. He was most noted for his comic performances: Leporello in Don Giovanni was one of his signature roles. He sang at the funerals of Beethoven (1827), Bellini (1835) and Chopin (1849). Portrayed whole length in historical costume
