    Tel.No.31, BRYNCOED, RHAYADER, Radnorshire* 15th June 1943, The Chairman & Members of the Rhayader R.D.C, Gentlemen, I have the honour to present the following report on the Public Health of the district for the year 1942, This annual report of the M.O.H. is abbreviated in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health* TUBERCULOSIS, Five fresh cases of Pulmonary Tuberculosis (i-hthyois) ^in males were notified; and one non-pulmonary infect¬ ion in a female. There occurred one death in a female from non-dulmonary tuberculosis. OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASESf occured as follows Erysipelas 1, Measles 2, Scarletina 7, Pneumonia 23, Whooping cough 3, German measles 1, Puerperal pyrexia 1. VENEREAL DISEASES^ In the absence of compulsory notification accurate figures are difficult to obtain in thi in my.opinion there has not been'any increase in this district during the year. of respect, but these ailments SCABIES.
