Description
Photograph album containing photographs taken by George Mackay, an Edinburgh ophthalmic surgeon, at the International Conference on Railway and Marine Hygiene, attended by Mackay and Bickerton, Amsterdam, 1895.
Included are photographs of delegates, and a photograph of an ophthalmic operation by Herman Snellen (1834-1908) of Utrecht, in the presence of Bickerton and others.
With a letter of presentation from Mackay to Bickerton, 1897, and a photograph of Mackay in his consulting room.
