"Civil Defence Planning in the NHS" (1985) was an updated version of a previous circular first published in 1977. The circular outlines plans for the Health Service and the treatment of casualties in case of both conventional and nuclear war. The draft revised circular was sent to interested bodies, including MCANW, for comment before publication.
