Recipe book

Recipe book covering medicinal, household and veterinary recipes; among these are recipes for "female mixture". Various loose items are inserted between the pages. Although the volume is not dated, there is a note inside the cover saying that it was indexed in 1937, and one of the inserted items is dated 1922: the volume can probably safely be assigned to the inter-war years. The volume was acquired from a stationer's in Finsbury Park, north London.
