Notes

Sue Bearman comes from the Wirral on Merseyside. She has two part time jobs, one of which is as a lecturer in social services which is her main background of work. Talks about her involvement in supporting causes to do with independence and freedom particularly feminist movements in the 80s and supporting the freedom of Nelson Mandela. Her husband is an artist and gave her a quick lesson in oil painting and on the plinth she will be doing her first ever oil painting. Has also put together a portfolio of statements, thoughts about life and art from herself, family and friends
