Description
Haygarth's attempts to raise money on behalf of Dr Cleverly's family. Refers to a ward of patients with Typhus Fever.
With a note in a different hand stating that Lambridge House is near Bath and that in the Abbey Church at Bath is a monument of Robert Bostock M.D from 1747 and probably a relation of the recipient of the letter. Also with an envelope with a pencil note from 1989 that the post script to the letter is signed by J.H [unidentified], but probably John Haygarth

There is a pencil note with the letter from 1989 saying that the letter is on permanent loan to the Heberden Library from WSCC. It is likely that these initials refer to William Copeman whose full name was William Sydney Charles Copeman.
