Notes

Georgette Brookes lives in Birmingham. She is originally from Coventry but born in Bahrain. She works in housing and through her work has met a variety of people from all different backgrounds. She is a Communications Officer for a Housing Association. On the plinth she will be raising awareness of her organisation, Optima, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Previously had a tremendous fear of heights but has just finished a course with a man known as the 'Fearmaster' who, using Neuro-Linguistic Techniques has helped her over her fear which she has had since she was 3.
