About this work

Description

Index cards of secondary published sources. Originally in an unlabelled box; not in alphabetical order or filed alphabetically within the box. Most of the card separators are not connected to the cards and most of them have been removed.

The subjects covered notably include the mental hospital and the behaviours of and treatment of patients, Freudian theories, neuroses, aggression theory, frustration and agression, agression in children, aggression in society, sleep disturbance, narcolepsy, sleep and psychoanalysis, dream screen. A separated section of the box contains references on art and mental health, psychoanalysis and art, art of psychotic patients. All the sources cited were published between the 1930s and 1950s. It is likely that the cards were compiled in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

(The original box-list indicated the cards were sources for Sexual Deviation but there is no evidence to prove that and they don't all look specifically relevant to the subjects covered in that book.)
