Biographical note
Morgan's name, and the date appear on the first leaf, and he is presumably the writer of these notes of lectures by an unidentified professor: he was the youngest son of James Morgan, barrister and Bencher of Lincoln's Inn by his wife Mary, grand-daughter of Sir John Chardin [1643-1713] who died in 1757. He does not appear to have qualified as a physician.
