Notes

Georgina Sommerville grew up in London but moved to Worcester four years ago partly for work and also because her husband and his family are from there. On the plinth she will be dressing in a toga fashioned from the civil flag of Worcester and promoting the city of Worcester from the plinth. She has embraced her new lifestyle there, which she says is a lot more involved in the community; she is less anonymous there and volunteers a lot within the community. She also enjoys being able to get out into the country more etc. etc. She works as Quality Insurance Manager for a housing charity going around to offices, identifying good practice or how things can be improved.
