Correspondence, minutes and papers re a meeting with the Disability Living Allowance Advisory Board (DLAAB) in April 2002. Includes geographical data on thalidomide impaired people's experience of applying for DLA and other statistical information. Also includes copy of the DLAAB's annual report, 2000.

The DLAAB described itself as an "independent advisory body, established under section 3(1) of the Disability Living Allowance and Disability Working Allowance Act 1991. It advises the Secretary of State for Social Security and SEMA group doctors who carry out services for the Department of Social Security (Medical Service doctors) on matters relating to Disability Allowance and Attendance Allowance".
