About this work

Description

Five sets of negatives of microscopic photographs. Also articles: Wilkins and Geoffrey Zubay, ‘X-ray diffraction studies on the molecular structure of nucleohistone and chromosomes’, offprint from Journal of Molecular Biology, 1959; Watson Fuller, ‘Nucleic acid structure’, offprint from Science Progress, Jan 1964. Typescript undated article by Wilkins, ‘A note on obtaining molecular transform data from fibre diffraction photographs’, and outsize Fourier contour map. Two outsize rolled illustrations of molecular models of DNA, possibly used for display, and an outsize rolled negative image of a graphic design of a space-filling model of DNA, possibly a prototype for a commercial design, presented to Wilkins.
