Description
1 autograph letter, signed, discussing rabies, to "Mons. Sabbarot" (possibly Jacques Sabarot de la Vernière (fl. 1761-1788), French military surgeon: see MS. 7499). This item was originally ascribed to Étienne Benoit Révolat (1768-1848), military physician (see MS. 7469/47) and is dated from the town in which the latter was a physician (Vienne), but the date appears too early for them to be the same.
