Receipt-Book, Italian: 16th century

Collection of medical receipts: in Italian. There are a few additions by different hands.

Late 16th century

1 volume 138 [151] ff. 16mo. 101/2 x 71/2 cm. Original calf binding over wooden boards: spine damaged. Ff. 1-6, 21-24, 94, 97, 103, 108, 109, 113, 114, 147 and all after fol. 150 are wanting; pasted down on the inside of each cover, is a damaged leaf, probably from the earlier part of the volume.

The papers are available subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking.
