Neural tube

This flourescent micrograph shows a transverse section of the chick neural tube. the cells have been stained to show the nuclei in blue (dapi) and the cells have also been marked with green fluorescent protien labelled tubulin, which marks the cells cytoskeleton in green. Apical cell division is observed at the lumen edge of the developing neural tube as it closes.
