Includes a newspaper cutting from 1740 (?) about land being acquired for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, 18th century adverts for Lowdall, man-midwife in Petworth, Mlle Mascé, midwife, Ames, surgeon, apothecary and man midwife (Hindon), G. Owen, man-midwife at 46 Little Britain and Mme. Bonnet, midwife (Lyon), the Benevolent Institution (for delivering poor married women at their own habitations, 1800, 1802, listing Richard atkinson, physician, and 21 midwives), advert for a breast pump (description et usage) made by M. Dumotiez (Paris), J. Wood (surgeon, apothecary and man-midwife, Wakefield, ca.1780), invitation to a dinner (29 April 1783, Leathersellers Hall, Bishopgate, London) to meet the governors etc. of the Lying In Charity for married women at their own habitations, leaflets and stationery, Stérilité des dames (cure for barrenness, Annual subscripton receipt for the Benevolent Institution for delivering poor married women at their own habitations (1821), Sylk (vaginal lubricant, 2010)
