Notes

Thomas Cameron Addey is from Winchester. He is going to represent the phone tapping scandal by the News of the World newspaper with a giant mobile phone and hand-held masks of the celebrities involved in the scandal; he will also have a sign questioning whether the phone tapping is public interest or invasion of privacy. He also has his phone to talk to people while on the plinth. He is interested in public affairs, he studies politics, economics and philosophy at Manchester university. He is considering teaching or the civil service as careers but hasn't made a final decision. He is doing the project to make a statement from a light-hearted perspective. His girlfriend, family and friends are important to him, he is also enjoying university. He was born near Basingstoke and moved to Winchester for secondary school then went to Southampton for sixth form.
