Notes

Ian Bayes comes from Higham Ferrar in Northamptonshire. He currently works for the Equity Union looking after actors at the BBC focussing on internal BBC dramas. At the age of 16 he took his first job at a shoe making factory and got himself involved in a union that was set up and has worked in unions ever since. He has a passion for history and in particular World War 1. On the plinth he will be doing a variety of things broken into sections including a reading from section of his book that he has published, historical information about Nelson, some poems and a sing along with the crowd for the last 10-15 minutes.
