Biographical note
As part of Morgan's role as Deputy Director of MIND, Morgan was tasked with organising the 1968 World Federation for Mental Health Congress due to be held in the UK. Following this Morgan was appointed to the Executive Board of the WFMH in 1970, went on to become Vice-President in 1977, and eventually served as President from 1985 until 1987. During her time at the WFMH, Morgan established the European Regional Council (the European branch for WFMH activities) that changed its name to Mental Health Europe in 1998.
