    the remaining 56, 14 have paid full rates of board, and 42 have paid in part, according to their means, the expenses which have been incurred for them. The amount received from paying patients has exceeded one-third of the expenses of the Asylum for the year. The visiting committee organized by the lady members of the corporation have continued their visits to the Asylum throughout the year, and have cheered and helped the patients very much. The managers regret to announce that Dr. Samuel A. Green, who has been a valued member of their board from the time of its organization, finds it inconvenient for him to render us further service, and declines re-election.
