Notes

Karen Cairnie comes from Dundee in Scotland. She worked in a factory for 15 years but was made redundant two years ago. Decided to go back to study an HND in legal services and is about to start a university degree in Business Studies. Works as a part-time telephonist at the weekends. On the plinth she will be doing a bit of tap dancing to music - a hobby of hers and something she finds herself doing when on her own at home.
