Reproduction note

An etching made by Wenceslaus Hollar after Leonardo's drawing at Windsor (Clark 19032v). It reverses the figure that appears on the top right of the sheet and omits the notations Leonardo had made on the muscles. Hollar had access to Leonardo's drawings from 1636 to 1641 when he was in the employ of Thomas Howard, Earl of Arundel, who at the time owned the Leonardo drawings now in Windsor. Hollar later published prints of them between 1645-1651
