Format as RET 3/4/1/1 Marked 'Hos. Expenses' on cover. Title 'Private Accounts Book' has been crossed out. Since the first pages in the volume have been torn out, this was presumably a book begun for private accounts and then used for house expenses instead. First page has doodles including drawings of various heads in profile: a blank sheet of paper has subsequently been partly stuck in to hide them. Volume numbered '28' on spine
