The publication Medical Advances and Animal Research: the contribution of animal science to the medical revolution: some case histories was produced to provide case histories of the contribution animal research has made towards medical developments. It was originally produced in 2007.

The Physiological Society is listed on the inside page as a member of the Coalition for Medical Progress. RDS: Understanding Animal Research in Medicine was a British lobby group, founded in 1908, which at the end of 2008 merged with the Coalition for Medical Progress to form Understanding Animal Research.
