Notes

Neil Ellis lives in Dulwich in South East London but grew up in Devon. He runs his own window display business called Panorama. He is going on the plinth as a tribute to the cyclists who have died on the roads of London since January last year - 22 have died. He wants to raise awareness of the deaths and create a discussion and debate to see what can be done. He then hopes to go to Transport for London with the ideas from this debate. He is dressed as a skeleton and is wearing a cycling helmet and his bike is sprayed white like a ghost bike. He will be erecting 22 banners (8ft in size) around the perimeter of the plinth and will be cycling in the middle.
