Notes

Tony Pressley comes from Worksop in Nottinghamshire. On the plinth he will bring a life size photo of his dad cut in cardboard who he never met as he died before he was born - a semi monument to 'his own man'. He comes from a large family of 7 siblings and lots of aunts and uncles and tells the story he's been told of the moment when the was photo wsa taken in 1940s. He father worked in the pit from the of 17 years old, he was boxer, runner and gymnast and becamee a professional wrestler and go married at 20 years of age. He left the pit in the 1940s and one day in 1964 he died by a car accident.
