Notes

John Sargeant was born in Devon and after living around the country has moved back there. Took an apprenticeship in and embarked on a career in electrical engineering. Talked about the apprenticeship process. He then took a different career route and became a mental health nurse. Talked at length about his experience working in mental health. He is currently semi-retired. On the plinth he will be raising awareness of the charity Shelter Box and will be reading some of his own poetry.
