Description
Video of consultation between Elizabeth Anionwu and a woman, who is told at the beginning that she is a sickle cell carrier (with sickle cell trait, not the illness). Anionwu then explains the genetic basis of sickle cell disease and traits, and discusses with her the status of her partner and their potential risk of having a child with sickle cell disease.
