Letters from Ninian Bruce to Lt.Col. James Chisholm (d. 1821), mainly about personal matters, particularly an African boy named Allan, brought by Chisholm from Sierra Leone and employed as a domestic servant by Mrs Bruce. With letters from Bruce to D. Stoddart, solicitor, about Chisholm's estate, of which Bruce was an executor.
