Herculaneum. In an ancient resort. The peristyle of a patrician's house at Herculaneum, which has been uncovered during the present excavations. The fountain standing in the centre has been repaired, and is fed with water from the same leaden pipes that fed it nearly 2,000 years ago Lettering on typescript label pasted onto verso.
