Files of correspondence and internal memoranda [from the Wellcome Trust?] re the publication of the results of the excavations by Oxford University Press for the Wellcome Trustee. This was done in four volumes: Harry Torczyner, Lankester Harding, Alkin Lewis and JL Starkey, ' Lachish I: The Lachish Letters', 1938; Olga Tufnell, Charles H Inge and Lankester Harding, ' Lachish II: The Fosse Temple', 1940; Olga Tufnell, 'Lachish III: The Iron Age', 1953; Olga Tufnell, 'Lachish IV: The Bronze Age', 1958. Files of purely routine correspondence and proofs of the published volumes have not been kept. There is very little on the publication of Volume IV.
