About this work
Description
Has assisted reproductive technology gone too far? The question is prompted by a particularly controversial development - research into the use of eggs from aborted foetuses for fertility treatment. Dr. Roger Gosden (Edinburgh University), pioneer of the technique, argues the case for continuing this research. He is opposed by Dr. John Hapgood, Archbishop of York and David Alton, M.P. Meanwhile the Human Fertility and Embryology Authority has invited public comment on Dr. Gosden's work.
