Trial for breach of promise of marriage, Miss Eleanor Palmer against Benjamin Barnard, Esq. at Guildhall, before Lord Kenyon and a Special Jury of Merchants, On Wedesday, the 19th of December, 1792; The Damages were laid at Twenty Thousand Pounds, and the Jury gave a Verdict for One Thousand.
