Description

Watercolour drawing of the face of a man who had necrosis of the left side of his lower jaw, with sloughing phagedaena. Four months before the admission of the patient to the Hospital he caught a cold, which was followed by necrosis of a portion of the left ramus of his lower jaw. After the removal of a sequestrum gangrene set in.
