The folklore tales in this calendar have all been taken from Folk-lore of the American Indians (author not given).
They include folklore on topics such as: exorcism, herb gathering, medicine bundles and dance rituals (for instance, on the 'Ponca Buffalo Dance' which was performed for the healing of wounds).
