John Edward Preen lives in Manchester. Visiting Gormley's Another Place had a profound effect on him. He liked the idea of being famous for fifteen minutes. He is going to ask his partner Russ to marry him while on the plinth - he has a big cardboard sign. He also has a t-shirt wishing Russ' Mum Jean a happy birthday, a reference to John Lennon on the other and a thankyou to Gormley. Honesty, integrity and having fun are important to him
